Morzine
Morzine Ski Resort is based in the Heart of and is the largest resort of the Portes do Soleil ski area, this giant ski area straddles the French Swiss border. With Les Gets on one side, and french ski resorts such as Avoriaz and Chatel on the other, a Chalet in Morzine is perfectly place for the whole ski area.
With 650kms of pistes, it is the largest ski area in Europe. Morzine is on the to do list for any keen skier or snowboarder and we hightly recommend it. There are 14 interconnected resorts that make up the Portes du Soleil region, these resorts include Morzine,, Avoriaz, Chatel, Les Crosets, Champery, Torgins and St Jean d’Aulps.
With such a large ski area, it is as close as you could get to being all things to all people.

Morzine is an extremely convenient ski resort for skiers from the UK, at only 1hr 15 mins drive from Geneva airport there are frequent transfers going up and down the mountain so it’s very easy to co-ordinate your flight times with transfers.

Morzine
Morzine is one of the worlds most renowned ski resorts, its facilities are second to none, with an integrated ski lift system joining the whole Portes du Soliel region creating one super resort. Morzine is a Chalet based resort that is geared around families, there are numerous childcare services, family restaurants, nursery ski slopes and plenty of ski schools to keep all ages of the family happy. Because the Chalets here are geared towards families, special family orientated facilites can be found, chalets here have extra safety equiptment, family orientated timetables and catered chalet menus in order to keep everyone happy during their family catered chalet holiday. Because Morzine is geared around families it is considered more quiet than many other resorts, but there is always something going on to entertain all ages.
