Pricing Structure

Hello and welcome back to those returning to us for the 08-09 season! We've slightly changed the pricing structure for the coming year to try and make things simpler for you. We also now offer better value for money for those sharing rooms.

  • The prices quoted are the adult prices. However adults who are the 3rd or 4th person in a room are half price!
  • Children (2-12 yrs) 10% off if person 1 or 2 in a room, and half price if 3 or 4.
  • Exclusive use of our chalets:
    If you would like to book exclusive use of one of our chalets we now have a fixed price for the whole chalet. You can put as many or as few people as you like (up to the maximum capacity of each chalet). We hope this will make it simpler for you and better value if you want to share rooms.
  • For Chalet Bruyeres this is roughly 10 x adult price, so you get up to four free places!
  • For Le Vieux Chalet it is roughly 12 x adult price, so you get up to 5 free places!
  • For Chalet St Martin it is roughly 16 x adult price, so you get up to 6 free places!
  • We require a minimum of two people per room when bookings are made by the room (i.e. not exclusive use of the chalet). If you would like to book a room for one person please contact us for details of the supplement payable.

Short Breaks

We only do short breaks during the first and last weeks of season. If you are looking for short breaks during main season please do feel free to drop us a note as we know some other chalets who do short breaks all season long.

What's Included in your Ski Holiday

Not Included:

You must have adequate insurance for a snow sports holiday, looking out for cover of cancellation of holidays for any reason, off piste skiing, liability and medical needs. We use Fogg Travel Insurance.

Holiday Booking Discounts*:

Two Week Booking 10% discount on both weeks
Returning Guest 10% discount
Both of the above 15% discount
Person in 3rd or 4th Bed in a room (any age) 50% discount
Child in bedspace 1 or 2 in a room (2-12 yrs) 10% discount
Infant in Cot (0 & 1yrs) £100 set charge

*Discounts apply to the price of The Chalet Experience services only, no discount is applicable to services provided by external suppliers (ski hire, lift passes, lessons, childcare etc.) All discounts are given at the discretion of The Chalet Experience.

How to Book

Please read our terms and conditions before booking.

1. Initial Booking

Contact us by email or phone. We will confirm availability then put the rooms on hold for you. Information we need:

  • Party leader's name and contact information
  • Dates and rooms requested
  • Dates of Birth (if under 18)

2. Confirm Booking

A 30% deposit* is due within one week to confirm the booking. Information we need (feel free to give this at the initial booking stage):

  • Names of all in party
  • Dates of birth if under 18
  • Flight details (if known)
  • Dietary requirements
  • Ideal Holiday Comments** (optional)

*This is 30% of the price of our holidays. No payment for ski hire, passes etc. is required at this stage.

**Please let us know what would make your perfect holiday, so we can prepare for your arrival. Is your perfect holiday first lifts everyday? Relaxing in the mountain air? Touring the 14 resorts?

Also you many wish to give us the information below. No charge will be made at this stage and these will be re-confirmed nearer the time.

  • Childcare requirements

3. Final Balance

The balance is due 60 days before departure.

4. Lift Passes, Ski Hire, Ski Lessons and Childcare

We will gladly arrange all of these for you. We understand these are a significant cost, so there is no need to pay until your balance is due. We will contact you around this time to confirm your requirements and arrange payment.

5. Insurance

You must have adequate snow sports insurance. Please let us know your insurer and policy number before you travel in case of emergencies. We use Fogg Travel Insurance

Bank Transfer is our preferred method. This provides a lower carbon footprint than posting a cheque. There is generally no charge from banks and with online/telephone banking it is very quick and easy.
